Rainforest Management Alliance supports its members in the following areas:

Through these activities, Rainforest Management Alliance is developing a set of best practice standards so that alliance members are held in high regard across the commercial world.
The key aims are to work to a set of standards that provide:
- Transparency
- Fair and equitable business practices
- Adoption of carbon standards that are seen as a mark of quality
- A fair and appropriate proportion of the benefits filtering down to the Rainforest Owner Groups
- To create informative and accurate media packages to fully inform the public of alliance activities
- To hold regular meetings and workshops to integrate the knowledge and expertise of the members
