Through these activities, Rainforest Management Alliance is developing a set of best practice standards so that alliance members are held in high regard across the commercial world.

The key aims are to work to a set of standards that provide:

  • Transparency
  • Fair and equitable business practices
  • Adoption of carbon standards that are seen as a mark of quality
  • A fair and appropriate proportion of the benefits filtering down to the Rainforest Owner Groups
  • To create informative and accurate media packages to fully inform the public of alliance activities
  • To hold regular meetings and workshops to integrate the knowledge and expertise of the members
